Voice of Life Ministries cares about people.  We are here to serve the Kingdom of God and our fellow man.  In a time when the love of many seems to wax cold, we desire to be that oasis of love in the desert for all those who seek a drink.  In addition to presenting the love of Christ, we also sense the need to administer the Word of God in a straight forward, down to earth and uncompromising way.  We desire to present the truth of God in a way which will reveal his love.

The Purpose of Voice of Life Ministries Is:

  • To lead men and women into a personal relationship with God.
  • To provide a place of worship where all who come can worship as they desire.
  • To teach the Word of God in love and in truth.
  • To be a station to teach and send workers into the harvest.
  • To encourage and also provide a platform for ministers who are of like faith.
  • To support foreign missions and stand behind and support the jewish people.
  • To be an outreach to our community and be a Godly influence on it's people.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the infallible, unfaltable, incorruptable word of God

2 Timothy 3:16; Mathew 24:35, Heb 4:12

We believe in the fundamentals of the Blood Atonement.

Hebrews 9:22, John 1:7

We believe that Jesus was fully God manifested in flesh and yet fully man.

John 1:1-14

We believe that Jesus was the spotless, sinless, lamb who became the blood sacrifice which would take away the sin of the world.

John 1:29

We believe that Jesus laid in a borrowed tomb and three days after his crucifixion rose from the dead.

We believe that Jesus is now seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us.

We believe in affirming our salvation through water baptism.

We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and the manifestion of all nine gifts of the Spirit.

We believe that salvation is designed for the whold man spirit, soul, and body.  The Spirit of man is cleansed of sin, the mind is made new, and the body is divinely healed.

We believe in the return of Jesus Christ to earth and the final redemption of the body through the catching away and the resurrection of the saints.

About the Pastor

Pastor Phillip Oliver has served the Kingdom of God for 30 years.  I started in the ministry at the age of 17 and have been influenced personally by great men of God such as the late founder of United Christian Church and Ministerial Association H. Richard Hall and also Charles and Francis Hunter who worked closely with the late John Osteen (Joel Osteen's) father.  Charles and Francis influenced the Kingdom of God on a national and international level. It has been a great honor to know these great men and women of God which have had a tremendous impact on my life and ministry.

I started out at the age of 17 evangelizing on weekends while in High School.  After graduation I worked full time and evangelized while also assisting my dad W.P Oliver with a church he started in Ashland Alabama.  After about 1 year of work I was the victim of a corporate lay off and surrender to full time evangelization.  This ministry took me all over the United States and to several other countries, and into hundreds of churches.  I did not realize the sacrifices I would have to make when I choose to follow the will of God.  During this period I ministered mostly in small churches and have slept on pews taken many cold showers and took many baths from bathroom sinks.  Through all this God has blessed me greatly and many souls have been born again and we have seen great signs, wonders, and miracles.  Many of which have been medically documented.  God in his great grace and mercy has granted us a sign gift ministry and all glory goes to the Lord Jesus Christ.

In March of 2007 God called me to found Voice of Life.  On August 5th of 2007 we had our first service with about 50 in attendance.  Since that time my journey with Voice of Life has been amazing and extreme at times.  I never thought after 23 years of evangelizing I would be founder and pastor of Voice of Life Ministries; however through obedience to the voice of God he has established the work through many infallible proofs and I would not trade places with anyone.  All glory and praise we give to the Almighty who has honored me with the sobering task of preaching this Great Gospel of Jesus Christ.
